PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an image file for reproducing image data correctly in an output device. SOLUTION: An image file GF (10) has an image data storing region 101 for storing an image data GD, and a control information storing region 102 for storing an output control information CI on the output device. The image data GD is stored in, for example, JPEG format, and the output control information CI is stored in TIFF format. The output device control information CI is the information for obtaining the optimum image output as an result according to the combination while considering the input device and the image output characteristics of the image output device. |
