PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the operating point of a sensor from changing even if there is a variation in contact position, i.e., front or rear, between a fork and a pallet. SOLUTION: This detection sensor 21 comprises a sensor part 22 formed of a proximity switch and a parallel link part 24 vertically moving a lever 30 while keeping in horizontal direction. The parallel link part 24 comprises link arms 25 and 26 of a same length moving parallel with each other in vertical direction, and one end sides of the link arms 25 and 26 are fitted to the fixed part 29 thereof on a support plate 11 side rotatably by shafts 27 and 28. Also the other end sides of the link arms 25 and 26 are rotatably connected to the base part of the generally L-shaped lever 30 through pins 31 and 32. A contact plate 33 formed in a flat plate is integrally provided on the upper part of the lever 30. A dog 33 is installed on the upper part of the link arm 25 and, according to the rotation of the link arm 25, the dog 33 is rotated so that the sensor part 22 can detect the presence or absence of the dog 33.
