<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music stand inclining mechanism which can be easily in a horizontal position without operating a back side of the music stand by hand. SOLUTION: When an arm comprising a body 7 and a telescopic part 9 inserted into the body 7 is provided between the back side of the music stand and a music rack, a guiding protrusion 55 is located at a starting point A in a horizontal state of the music stand. When the music stand is raised, the guiding protrusion 55 moves along the first groove 35. When the music stand is inclined at the first angle, the guiding protrusion 55 reaches an end point B of the first groove and falls into a hole. As a result, the guiding protrusion 55 can not move along the first groove 35 and the arm can not be contracted. When the music stand is further inclined, the guiding protrusion 55 comes off the hole, moves along the third groove 41 and reaches a starting point C of the second groove 39. The guiding protrusion 55 can move along the second groove 39, the arm can be contracted, and the music stand returns to the horizontal state.</p> |
