PURPOSE: A power system of a constant output vertical shaft windmill is provided to maintain constant output of power regardless of the velocity of the wind. CONSTITUTION: A power system of a constant output vertical shaft windmill includes a main windmill(10) having the function of generation of electric power, a sub windmill(20) having the function of air compression, and a compressed air tank(30). The main windmill(10) has a hollow vertical rotating shaft(112), a horizontal support plate(114) fixed to the upper end portion of the rotating shaft, and a wing blades(116) fixed at the ends of the horizontal support plate(114). The sub windmill(20) has a hollow vertical rotating shaft(212), a horizontal support plate(214) fixed to the upper end portion of the rotating shaft, and a wing blade(216) fixed at the ends of the horizontal support plate(214). The main windmill(10), the sub windmill(20), and the compressed air tank(30) are connected mutually by conduits(132). The main windmill(10) is operated by the air compressed by the sub windmill(20) when the wind velocity is slow, and output of the windmill is regularly maintained by controlling the wing blades(116). |
