PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear emitter, which has high reliability and can easily obtain clear linearity and an induction cooking device, capable of clearly displaying the heating range of a corresponding heating part by providing the linear emitter at a circumferential part of an induction heating coil. SOLUTION: A light-transmitting body 12, whose cross section for guiding light is rectangular and a light source 11 provided in the length direction of the light-transmitting body 12 are provided, one side of the rectangle is a light- emitting surface 14 that emits light to the outside, and a light reflecting layer 13 is provided at a side opposite to the light-emitting surface 14. According to this configuration, a clear linear emitter 10 can be obtained, without diffusing light emission from the light-emitting surface 14. When the linear emitter 10 is used in the induction heating device, a clear graphic can be described on a top plate, in response to an induction heating coil. |
