<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deposit-file management method which communicates the living will of a person who uses an information terminal and suitably protects his privacy when he dies, and also provide a system and a program therefor. SOLUTION: It is judged whether a period, which a depositor sets with a setting program 34, for judging whether the depositor is dead, has passed between the present time and the time of the last access which is confirmed by an access-judging program 40 while referring to access-date data 80 by executing a period-management program 42. In the case that a prescribed period has passed, a file disclosed and designated by a file-designating program 36 is disclosed, and a file designated to be erased is erased.
