PURPOSE: A transversal protection net apparatus useable in construction process is provided to prevent safety accidents from a fall and/or falling materials during working process by making a fixture base plate and a coupling socket rotating at installation/release thereof. CONSTITUTION: The protection net apparatus comprises a fixture base plate(11) at a first level(15) and a second level(16); a coupling socket(12) connected to the plate(11) by means of an anti-release pin(19); a support(13) and a wire rope(15) passing through a connection ring(17) of the support(13); a protection net(10) engaged to the support and the wire rope in a desired horizontal length; and a bolt pin(18) to tighten up the protection net and the support and the wire rope. The protection net is installed by connecting the base plate(11) and the socket(12) and coupling the pin(18); inserting the support(13) into the socket and passing the support through the ring; mounting the wire rope(14); finally connecting an outline rope and the wire rope, the support ring(17) and the bolt pin(18).
