PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensorless motor driver which prevents reverse rotation of a motor. SOLUTION: Prior to starting of a motor M, currents are caused to flow in a first phase coil L1 and a second phase coil L2, and capacitors C1, C2 are charged by turning switches SW1, SW2 on simultaneously, only for a time interval which is to the extent of not being able to rotate the rotor of the motor M, and in which of the coils L1, L2 is to be energized to start the motor M is determined, on the basis of the output of a comparator 801 which compares the magnitudes of the charged voltages of the capacitors C1, C2. |
