SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING MATCHING BETWEEN ROUTERS IN DYNAMIC ROUTING PROTOCOL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish new connection information by automatically eliminating the connection information of an old route ID stored in different routers and an old LSA prepared under the old router ID at the setting change of router IDs in an OSPF(open shortest path first). SOLUTION: In the case where the router ID of a router 3 is subjected to setting change from C to D, the route 3 makes no response when the router 3 receives the old LSA generated on the basis of the router C from a router 2. Meanwhile, in the case where the router 2 receives no response even when the router 2 retransmits the old LSA to the router 'C', the router 2 transmits an LSA of timeout with respect to the router 'C' to routers 1 and 3 after a predetermined time (one hour) and also eliminates connection information with respect to the router 'C' from a database held by the router 2 itself. Meanwhile, when the router 1 receives the LSA of the timeout with respect to the router 'C', the router 1 eliminates the connection information with respect to the router 'C' from a database held by the router 1 itself.
