PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing method for business use effectively preventing the shrinking and damages of laundry at the time of performing washing for the business use with water as a main body, and a washing device used for it. SOLUTION: Air bubbles are introduced from below of the laundry put inside a washing tub 10 and the operation of the washing tub 10 is controlled so as to be based on a standstill state. Thus, by the elevating action of the air bubbles, washing using the water and a detergent becomes more effective. That is, fine air bubbles pass through the laundry from below and thus the water and the detergent also pass through the laundry accompanying the movement of the air bubbles. Also, the laundry is not moved by adding mechanical force for washing and the operation of the washing tub is controlled so as to be based on the standstill state.
