PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-path type heat exchanger, unified in a temperature distribution on the surface of a core as much as possible and an outlet pipe as well as an inlet pipe are attached to only one side in the direction of thickness of the core. SOLUTION: An outlet and inlet port tank 4 is arranged at one end of the core 3 while an inlet port tank section 6 and an outlet port tank section 7 are formed by a partitioning wall 8 dividing the inside of the tank 4 into two sections in the widthwise direction of the tank 4. The height of a section of the inlet port tank section 6 is made remarkably higher than that of the other section to form an inlet port side inflated part 6a, while the height of a section of the outlet port tank section 7 is made remarkably higher than that of the other section to form an outlet port side inflated part 7a. In this case, an inlet port pipe 9 is provided on the inlet port side inflated part 6a while the outlet port pipe 10 is provided on the outlet port side inflated part 7a so as to be projected into the same direction respectively.
