PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a recording medium to record contents signals to be easily grouped. SOLUTION: When a recording medium for recording contents signals and additional information for managing the contents signals for every track is used and group management information for grouping the contents signals by track units is included in the additional information, when it is determined that any group for recording is designated in an ST11, the additional information of a work memory is changed according to the addition of music in an ST21, and the group management information is corrected according to the addition of the music in an ST23. When it is determined that any recording music is absent in an ST27, the updated additional information of the work memory equipped with the updated group management information is recorded from the work memory to the recording medium in an ST28.
