摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating mechanism for an electronic musical instrument which is capable of exactly performing after-touch control and other musical tone operations by a simple structure. SOLUTION: Plural spreading materials which have lengths and expansion characteristics substantially the same as each other are supported by means of elastic members on a holding frame for supporting a moving member. The respective spreading material are provided with detecting elements for detecting the change in the longitudinal direction of the spreading materials. A reference value output mechanism for calibrating the outputs from the detecting elements is also provided. The moving member is so disposed as to allow at least one spreading material to remain by putting the same into an off state with respect to the spreading materials and to come into contact with the other spreading material to put the same into an on state. When the moving member is operated, the reference value output mechanism outputs the output from at least one of the detecting elements of the off-state spreading materials as a reference value for output calibration of the detecting elements of the on-state spreading materials.
