METHOD OF STABILIZING ASCORBIC ACID

PURPOSE: A method of stabilizing ascorbic acid(vitamin C) is provided by adding hyaluronic acid to ascorbic acid and then adding ethyleneamine tetraacetic acid. Whereby, the ascorbic acid has improved preservation stability without a change in quality. CONSTITUTION: A specified amount of ethyleneamine tetraacetic acid is added to 3 to 20% by weight of an aqueous solution of ascorbic acid, and then hyaluronic acid is added thereto in an amount of 0.005 to 0.01g per 1g ascorbic acid to maintain the solution thereof at a pH of 2.8 to 3.0.
