SOLUTION: The high strength and highly corrosion resistant nonmagnetic stainless steel has a composition containing, by weight, <=0.15% C, <=1.0% Si, 3.0 to 12.0% Mn, <=0.030% P, <=0.50% Ni, 15.0 to 21.0% Cr, 0.70 to 1.50% N, <=0.020% Al and <=0.020% O, and the balance substantially Fe.
