PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a packaging body with an unsealing finger grip part and a lateral sealer, which enable a packaging film to be easily and rapidly ruptured for unsealing by forming the protrusive unsealing finger grip part out of the packaging film in itself, and which enable easy manufacture and a reduction in material cost and manufacturing cost by reducing the number of parts by comparison with a case where an unsealing means is provided by means of other members. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method for the packaging body with the unsealing finger grip part, an article to be packaged is covered with the long packaging film having heat-shrinkable properties, the packaging film is cut through cooperation between the first fusing cutter of the sealer and a receiving blade so that an overall width of the packaging film can be taken as a prescribed length, and an cut end is heat-sealed. After that, the packaging film for covering the article to be packaged is heat-shrunk. The unsealing finger grip part is formed out of the packaging film by heat-shrinking the packaging film after mutual opposed parts of the packaging film are heat-sealed by the second fusing cutter provided at a prescribed interval with respect to the first fusing cutter.
