PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working method for a rod lens and a working tool and a working device therefor allowing providing good working accuracy for a lens length, an angle of an inclined face, and a length of the residual face and mass production. SOLUTION: A lens assembling sheet 18 having the rod les 11 is installed on an installation face 24a inclined to a base 22 by a predetermined angleθand a face in parallel with the base 22 is ground and polished, and accordingly a lens assembling sheet 19 worked by the predetermined angle ofθcan be produced. Since plural stands 23 capable of fixing the lens assembling sheets thereon are mounted, plural rod lenses 11 can be worked by the predetermined angle ofθand the rod lenses with good working accuracy can be mass-produced.
