PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily switch a rotation direction of a portable power tool such as an air drill and securely stop the tool when abnormality occurs during work. SOLUTION: A tool handle includes a first interlocking mechanism 40 for interlocking an operation grip 12 and an on-off valve 20, and a second interlocking mechanism 50 for interlocking the operation rip 12 and a selector valve 30. The operation rip 12 is so structured that it can rotate between a stop position for closing the on-off valve 20, and a clockwise rotation position and a counterclockwise rotation position for setting the selector valve 30 in a predetermined switching status with the on-off valve 20 opened. Furthermore, the operation grip 12 is energized from the clockwise rotation position and the counterclockwise rotation position to the stop position by a torsion coil spring 26.
