PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take a picture of e.g. a city landscape as an omnidirectional image for acquiring a surface texture of a building. SOLUTION: An omnidirectional camera is used and a texture image of an object to be taken such as the building is retrieved considering parameters including position information of the camera for processing a silhouette region acquired by projecting a retrieved spatial model to acquire the surface texture of the object.
