PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graphite tray which has a spray deposit of combined material consisting of Y2O3 and ZrO2 on the surface, thereby, is used for sintering of cemented carbide or thermets product, has high binding power with graphite tray surface, hardly changes to the substance of oxygen deficiency type, as a result, prevents the invasion of carbon from the graphite tray into the deposit on the sintering and, further, causes no deposition phenomenon between the product and the tray. SOLUTION: This graphite tray is prepared by forming the spray deposit of Y2O3-ZrO2 combined material containing ZrO2 of >=20 wt.% and <=50 wt.%, preferably of 30 wt.% on the surface on which the cemented carbide or thermets product is mounted or held.
