PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely detect the state of ice pieces having reached the capacity of an ice stock chamber, and to attach a stock switch to an ice machine in a short time without fail by making it into such a form as to be fit for mass production. SOLUTION: A stock switch part 43, which is provided with a limit switch 19 and a working cam 24 within a casing 25 where an upper mold section and a lower mold section are foldable at a coupling section and in which a fever 16 whose tip is bent in L shape and which is provided with a detector 17 with a plate-shaped fin 26 in that section is extended, is attached to the sidewall of the base board 11 of the ice machine.
