<p>PURPOSE: A packaging material and a multi-layer container prepared by using the packaging material are provided, to prevent the deterioration of the oxygen-barrier property, thereby suppressing the permeation of oxygen for a long time. CONSTITUTION: The packaging material comprises an oxygen absorbing layer of a thermoplastic resin mixed with an organic oxidizing component and a transition metal catalyst, wherein he thermoplastic resin is hardly oxidized in the presence of the transition metal catalyst. Preferably the organic oxidizing component is a polyene, and more preferably is a polybutadiene or a polyisoprene modified with maleic acid or its anhydride; the transition metal catalyst is an organic salt of cobalt; and the thermoplastic resin is a xylenyl group-containing polyamide resin whose amino terminal concentration is 40 ec/10¬6 g or more. The degree of crystallization of the thermoplastic polyester resin of the container is 30-55 %.</p> |
