PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio wave absorbing body which can be easily manufactured, using an industrially readily and inexpensively available material by overcoming problems associated with a soft ferrite due to baking or crushing and in which energy consumption for the manufacturing the same is reduced. SOLUTION: Natural magnetic ilmenite is used as a radio wave absorbing material which is collected with a magnet to be disposed of as an industrial waste, when quartz, weathered feldspar or kaolinite or the like is collected from weathered granite and a reaction product thereof, to obtain silica sand for glass or clay for china. Thermosetting resin of 5 wt.%-15 wt.% is added to the material and kneaded, to form a cured body.
