METHOD FOR FORMING PATTERN, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING REFLECTION TYPE LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE BY USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: To provide a method for simplifying the manufacturing processes of a reflection electrode having a rugged pattern on its surface and of the base insulating film of the electrode. CONSTITUTION: Openings of various opening diameters are formed in a photosensitive organic film 16 by one time exposure, then a polyvinylalcohol(PVA) film 64 which increases the thermal fluidity is applied on the photosensitive organic film 61 and heat treated. When the PVA film 64 is removed, the openings with small diameters are crashed to show loose recesses and projections. The reflection electrode formed on the recesses and projections has recesses and projections with small average inclination angles and it acts as an ideal reflection electrode.
