<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a node supervisory method, a node supervisory system and a recording medium that supervise nodes connected to a network, generate a topology information table of the nodes being supervisory objects on the network, poll the nodes on the basis of the table to monitor the occurrence of the nodes, refer to the topology information table on the detection of abnormity, specify an abnormity node and eliminate useless polling. SOLUTION: This invention provides the node supervisory method that includes a step where the network supervisory system polls a node extracted from the topology information table by referring to the topology information table registering the configuration of nodes being supervisory objects connected to the network and a step where when the system discriminates the polled node to be faulty, the system refers to the topology information table to poll the nodes for the specification of the faulty node as required thereby specifying the faulty node and this invention also provides the nose supervisory system and the recording medium.</p> |
