PURPOSE: A method for supplying air for air fence into a sintering ignition furnace is provided to increase sintering surface strength, thereby improve quality of sintered ore by facing a supply direction of the air for air fence supplied into the sintering ignition furnace toward a burner. CONSTITUTION: In a method for supplying air for air fence into a sintering ignition furnace preventing flame(7a) of a burner installed at an exit side of the ignition furnace(5) from being diffused into an entrance side of the ignition furnace(5) by supplying the air for air fence to the lower part perpendicularly to the entrance side of the ignition furnace(5) that is installed at the upper part of a sintering car(2) in which sintering raw materials are loaded and which is moved in a certain speed, the method for supplying the air for air fence into the sintering ignition furnace is characterized in that a flame zone formed in the burner is diffused into the exit side of the ignition furnace(5) by supplying the air for air fence from the upper part of the sintering car at the entrance side of the ignition furnace toward the burner at the exit side of the ignition furnace.
