PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge capable of stably supplying an ink liquid in a good concentration range even in the case of a long term storage. SOLUTION: An ink cartridge 1 comprises (1) a housing part 11 having a spherical surface at least in a bottom part outer side surface 15, (2) a weight part 14 for providing the gravitational orientation for disposing the bottom part of the housing part at the lowermost part in the gravitational direction, and (3) an ink intake opening 13 provided on the bottom part side in the gravitational direction.
