<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing toner which allows colorant, etc., to be uniformly and stably dispersed in polymerizable monomers and is excellent in printing characteristic. SOLUTION: This method for producing toner consists of a process for obtaining a monomer composition A by dispersing the colorant into a dispersing medium including the polymerizable monomers under the conditions of a tip speed of stirrer of 3-20 m/s and a residence time of 0.03-0.5 h by the use of a media type dispersion machine, obtaining a monomer composition B by dispersing or dissolving an electrostatic charge control agent into the dispersing medium including the polymerizable monomers, obtaining a monomer composition C by dispersing or dissolving a releasing agent into the dispersing medium including the polymerizable monomers and obtaining a polymerizable composition D by mixing or dispersing the monomer composition A, the monomer composition B and the monomer composition C into the dispersing medium including the polymerizable monomer, a granulating process for forming the droplet of the polymerizable composition D in the aqueous dispersing medium including a dispersion stabilizer, a process for obtaining the colored polymer particles by granulating the polymerizable composition to the droplet in the aqueous dispersion medium containing the dispersion stabilizer and polymerizing the droplet and a process for obtaining the toner by adding an additive to the particles.</p> |
