PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure for a rolling bearing capable of preventing localized wear of the rolling bearing due to moment loads and a resulting decrease in durability, while miniaturizing the rolling bearing and making a housing thinner and lighter in weight. SOLUTION: The support structure of a rolling bearing 3, in which an axial end 2a of a roller 2 is attached to an inner race 3a, supports the rolling bearing 3 with its outer race 3b attached to a thin-walled mounting member 1a. The transverse center A of the outer race 3b is located within the thickness width of the mounting member 1a and a positioning part having an inside diameter not smaller than the outside diameter of the outside diameter surface 3h of the outer race 3b and axially abutting the mounting member 1a to axially position the outer race 3b is provided on the outside diameter surface 3h. The positioning part comprises an annulus or the like fixedly fitted over either a flange part 3i formed integrally with the outside diameter surface 3h of the outer race 3b or the outside diameter surface 3h.
