PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment for positioning a parting board which is aimed at lessening the number of working processes for correction of the position of the parting board required due to a failure of insertion of the parting board, at improving the working efficiency and at ensuring the safety of the work for insertion of the parting board being a heavy substance. SOLUTION: The equipment for positioning the parting board is moved in the longitudinal direction of a form to regulate dimensions in the form. In the equipment, the parting board is positioned in a mode wherein a recess for positioning provided on the parting board side is fitted on a projecting pin for positioning provided on the upper edge part in the longitudinal direction of the form. In this contrivance, a recess for position detection to be fitted on a projecting pin adjacent to the projecting pin for positioning to be fitted in the recess for positioning is provided separately in a device for inserting the parting board and, after the recess for position detection is fitted previously on the projecting pin adjacent to the projecting pin for positioning, the projecting pin for positioning is fitted in the recess for positioning.
