PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the design meeting the liking and adaptability of a user and to well maintain the appearance of right and left spectacle lenses. SOLUTION: A manufacturing system 10 comprises a computer 1, an input device 12, a display device 13 and an aspherical surface working machine 14. An operator inputs the specifications of the spectacle lenses from the input device 12 (step S1). The computer 11 defines the segment of vertex refractive power in accordance with the specifications (step S2) and enumerates the plural lenses to be worked within the segment (step S3). In a step S4, a base curve is selected in compliance with the liking and adaptability of the user. The computer 11 determines the shape data of inside surfaces (step S5). When the operator sets the selected lenses to be worked in the aspherical surface working machine 14 and inputs a start command, the computer 11 controls the aspherical surface working machine 14 in accordance with the determined shape data and works the inside surfaces (step S6).
