PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase profit by providing prescriptions of herbal medicines through a communication network. SOLUTION: A server system installed at a herbal-medicine seller is connected to client computers installed at a doctor, a pharmacist, etc., through the Internet. Information specifying a prescription applicant for herbal medicines in inputted to a client computer. On the screen of the client computer, a chief complaint table, an inquiry table, and a tongue examination table each containing check items are displayed and corresponding items of those tables are selectively clicked according to symptoms of a patient. A prescription request including the items is sent to the server system through the Internet and a prescription of herbal medicines complying with the prescription request is generated under the control of the server system. The generated prescription is sent to the client computer through the Internet. |
