PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed system wherein a person with any body shape can take an optimal posture, and a comfortable evacuation and a nursing care become possible. SOLUTION: This bed system is equipped with a backrest plate 2 and a buttocks-supporting plate 3. In this case, the backrest plate 2 supports the upper half body of a user and can be rocked. The buttocks-supporting plate 3 supports the buttocks of the user while being adjacent to the backrest plate 2, and can vertically move. Then, the backrest plate 2 and the buttocks-supporting plate 3 are constituted in a manner to be respectively independently operated. Also, the buttocks-supporting plate 3 is made movable in the horizontal direction separating from the backrest plate 2.
