PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition having improved thermal resistance and/or toughness. SOLUTION: This epoxy resin composition comprises (A) an epoxy resin, (B) a curing agent, and (C) a nano-composite of a laminar silicates and an ethylene copolymer ionomer, where 1 to 50 pts.wt. of the nano-composite (C) is blended with 100 pts.wt. of the epoxy resin (A).
