PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply input a desired station name. SOLUTION: An automatic ticket-vending machine capable of issuing a prescribed ticket such as a normal train ticket and a commutation ticket on the basis of the station name of a prescribed destination inputted to the machine body consists of a first letter display means for displaying the first letters of plural stations common to a prescribed first letter such as east, west, south, and north on a station name input picture displayed on the machine body, a station name group display means for displaying a station name group concerned with the prescribed first letter when the prescribed first letter is selected from the displayed first letters and an issue control means for issuing a train ticket or the like up to the prescribed station name when the prescribed station name is selected from the displayed station name group and a railroad fare or the like up to the prescribed station name is charged into the machine body.
