METHOD FOR INK-JET PRINTING AND PRINTING DEVICE FOR CARRYING OUT SAID METHOD

The invention relates to printing devices. The inventive method for ink-jet printing is carried out by means of transferring ink drops from a plate to a carrier, simultaneously sending two emission impulses (a high power timed pulse and a weak control pulse) towards each positioned point of an ink film. The energy of both impulses produces a light- hydraulic action in said points, causing a high power acoustic impulse and ejection of ink from the positioned points to the carrier. The inventive printing device for carrying out the inventive printing method comprises a printing plate made of material which is transparent for emission of a defined wave length, and moving synchronously with an information carrier, in addition to generators for emitting timed and control pulses.
