METHOD FOR PRODUCING POLYIMIDE PRECURSOR AND POLYIMIDE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyimide precursor protected from molecular chain hydrolysis causing deterioration of its physical properties, and to provide a method for producing a polyimide from the precursor. SOLUTION: This polyimide precursor has high molding workability and is obtained by introducing a polyamic acid solution into a solution containing dicyclohexyl carbodiimide(DCC) as a dehydration-condensing agent; wherein the polyamic acid solution is provided by reacting a diamine with an acid dianhydride. Polyimide fiber and film are obtained by heating the precursor.
