PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a commercial value by making an external facing material appear to be thicker than the actual thickness in the case of looking at the external facing material including a window, from the outdoors. SOLUTION: A window opening 3 is formed in an exterior wall 2 with the external facing material 1 fitted to an outer surface part, and a sash window frame 4 is disposed at the window opening 3. An outer surface part of the sash window frame 4 is disposed in a position retreated onto the indoor side from the external facing material 1 constituting the outer surface part of the exterior wall 2. A side piece part 6 is projected onto the indoor side from one end of an outer surface piece part 5 of the same wall thickness as the external facing material 1 to form an external facing material 7 of L-shape cross section for a window edge of the same outer surface finish as the external facing material 1. The external facing material 7 for the window edge is disposed around the window opening 3, and the outer surface piece part 5 is positioned at the outer surface part of the exterior wall 2 so as to be adjacent to the external facing material 1, while at least the part, positioned on the outdoor side from the outer surface part of the sash window frame 4, of the inner peripheral surface part of the window opening 3 is covered with the side piece part 6.
