PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a system capable of distributing the merchandise information of a picture from a WWW server in response to a request from a client computer, and allowing the client computer to request desired information, or to select purchase merchandise. SOLUTION: A web server computer 101 is connected through a network 104 to plural client computers 103, and provided with a picture file indicating at least one merchandise information and picture contents in which relevant information or a merchandise identification ID is added to each merchandise information in the picture file. The web server computer 101 transmits the picture contents to the client computer 103 in response to a merchandise display request from the client computer 103, and executes processing according to the relevant information or the merchandise identification ID received from the client computer 103. |
