PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a spun-dyed polyester conjugate fiber, which enables the reduction of wastes and the shortage of the production time to improve the cost of the production, when the density of a color is changed on the melt-spinning of the spun-dyed polyester conjugate fiber. SOLUTION: This method for producing the spun-dyed sheath-core polyester conjugate fiber comprising a sheath layer and a core layer is characterized by using a polyester resin as main components constituting the sheath layer and the core layer, respectively, including a spun-dyeing dye in the sheath layer and the core layer in different concentrations, respectively, and changing the weight ratio of the sheath layer to the core layer to change the densities of the color in the sheath layer and the core layer, respectively.
