The invention relates to a method of attaching a diaphragm to be used in an electrolysis process, a diaphragm element and a fastening strip. According t o the idea of the invention, a diaphragm sheet (5) is cut from an electrolytic fab- ric, the sheet being tightly attached to the fastening strip (8) in a separa te stage. A diaphragm element provided in this way is fixed as one piece to a fastening groove (7) formed in a frame (6), to which groove the element is a t- tached by means of a fastening element (8a) in the fastening strip. |
