PURPOSE: To restrain car inside noise by reducing vibration transmitted to a car body from a bogie frame in a bogie for rolling stock. CONSTITUTION: A vessel 52 for housing a granular body 51 is arranged inside a side beam 11 of a bogie also serving as reinforcement of the side beam. An excitation source by track irregularity is transmitted to the bogie frame 10 through an axle spring from a wheel. Vibrational energy generated in the side beam 11 of the bogie frame is converted into kinetic energy of the granular body 51 by a collision of the granular body 51 in the vessel 52 to reduce vibration in the side beam 11 of the bogie frame to thereby reduce the vibration from the wheel generated by the track irregularity or unbalance of the wheel by a side beam part to restrain propagation of the vibration to the other part.
