PURPOSE: A thermal insulating bag is provided to keep articles cool for a long time with simple structure at low cost, and to prevent staleness of food by supplying liquefied cooling gas to a container with using a gas pack. CONSTITUTION: A folding part(63) is formed in the upper part of a bag(62) to close an opening part(64), and the upper part of the bag is contacted to the folding part in folding the folding part. Joining parts(65,65a) are arranged in the upper part of the bag to stick and remove repeatedly. The opening part is opened with lifting up the folding part, and articles are put in the bag. The folding part is folded, and the opening part is closed with sticking joining parts. A nozzle is inserted to a nozzle inlet of the end of the opening part, and liquefied gas is injected through a solenoid valve with turning on a switch of a cooling unit. Articles in the container are cooled with supplying liquefied cooling gas to the container. Staleness of food is prevented with keeping articles cool for a long time.
