PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the cut end faces of lead terminals composed of CP wires from involving in soldering, when the main body of an aluminum capacitor having the lead terminals is mounted on a circuit board after the main body is formed in a chip by attaching a base paste to the main body. SOLUTION: This chip-type aluminum electrolytic capacitor is provided with lead terminals 14 and 14 composed of CP wires and a base plate 20, which is attached to the sealed opening side of the main body 10 and is made of a heat-resistance synthetic resin. The terminals 14 are led out to the bottom face 20b side of the base plate 20, from the lead passing holes 21 and 21 of the plate 20 and the front end sections 141 of the terminals 14 are bent in the directions, of separating the end sections from each other. The front end sections 141 are bent toward the main body 10 at prescribed angles, so that no molten solder infiltrates into the cut end faces 142 of the front end sections 141 of the terminals 14.
