PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable resin solution composition improving flatness of a color filter surface and forming a transparent protection layer for the color filter with nearly no optical anisotropy, high indentation hardness and a high refractive index, a color filter and a liquid crystal display device preventing generation of a defective display. SOLUTION: The curable resin solution composition for the color filter is characterized by containing an alicyclic epoxy compound, an epoxy compound with a planar structural group, a cationic polymerization initiator, a polyol compound and organoalkoxysilanes and the color filter is characterized by having the transparent protection layer comprising a cured material of the curable resin solution composition for the color filter. Also the liquid crystal display device makes use of the color filter. |
