<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club having a face having score lines. SOLUTION: A golf club head has a face having a plurality of score lines having a continuously curved profile, the face of which is 0.28 cm (0.110 inch) or less in the thickness, and each line of the score lines is 0.030 cm (0.012 inch) or deeper. Each line of the score lines has from 0.071 cm (0.028 inch) to 0.081 cm (0.032 inch) width. Each line of the score lines has a profile having a first projected section and a recessed section and a second projected section. Preferably, the face is made of a processed titanium material. However, the face and/or the club head body is made of steel, other metal and a composite material.</p> |
