PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant resin composition which is excellent in flame-retardancy, flowability, rigidity, impact resistance and thermal resistance. SOLUTION: The flame-retardant resin composition, containing 100 pts.wt. of (A) a rubber-modified styrenic resin consisting essentially of (a-1) a graft copolymer formed by (co)polymerizing a monomer mixture having the essential component of an aromatic monomer in the presence of a rubbery polymer and (a-2) a (co)polymer having the essential component of an aromatic vinyl monomer and 1-20 pts.wt. of (B) a phosphorus compound, is characterized in that the graft polymer (a-1) has an weight-average molecular weight of the methyl ethyl ketone soluble matter of 70,000 to 150,000 and the (co)polymer (a-2) has an weight-average molecular weight of 100,000 to 200,000.
