BIT STREAM SWITCHING SYSTEM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bit stream changeover system that can smoothly switch bit streams of two systems without causing any screen shock when the video image is reproduced. SOLUTION: A switching controller 14 applies synchronization trigger to a switching source ENC 12 and a switching destination ENC 13 on the basis of control information received in advance from an APC 15 at switching of the stream systems to initialize the coding processing and to match a GOP phase of a TS output of the ENC 12 with a GOP phase of a TS output of the ENC 13 and applies switching control to a changeover device 11 so that the changeover device 11 conducts switching at an I picture of a GOP structure.
