PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active energy ray-curable coating composition comprising inorganic fine particles dispersed with a narrow grain size distribution, that is, in a uniformly micronized state and consequently excellent in dispersion stability. SOLUTION: The active energy ray-curable coating composition comprises an acrylate or methacrylate compound bearing at least two acryloyl or methacryloyl groups in the molecule, a functional group-containing acylate or methacrylate compound, inorganic fine powders having an average primary particle size of 0.2μm or less and a chelating agent.
