The invention relates to a cleaning vehicle for cleaning especially biological waste bins (15) in an environmentally friendly manner. To this end, the cleaning vehicle (1) is provided with a lift-pivot-and-lower device (16) with a vacuum gripper (18) that reliably picks up biological waste bins (15) of different shapes and sizes and pivots them to the receiving section (9). The spray lances (8, 29) are activated and closed-circuit cleaning water is sprayed into said section via said lances, said water being subsequently cleaned twice via a coarse sieve (36) and then via a fine filter (12). The water stored in the water tank (4) can be expanded several times within the circuit and by means of a high pressure pump (27) to such an extent that it is not necessary to add chemicals.
